As Jesus is the cornerstone upon which the Church is built, so are his teachings the unifying cornerstone of Christian doctrine.

Eternal Life is Now

The Power of the Eternal Now: Living in the Realm of I Am
The Power of the
Eternal Now
In John 17:1-11 Jesus prayed about his power to give eternal life to as many as God the Father had given him. He also emphasized an aspect of eternal life that is now. Jesus prayed, This is eternal life, that they may know you the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. How can we know God and Jesus? We begin by joining a conversation started by God. Jesus gave us the words which he was given and the conversation began. His words pointed to eternal life. Our words in prayer are a response to that conversation which God began in Jesus. Those people given to Jesus by God keep God’s word. As we receive the words which Jesus has given us, the words which God gave him, then we come to know and believe God.
